Virgo is Order

Virgos understand that perfection does exist. Instead of being limited by the realm of the possible, Virgo seeks to play with the improbable — the slight chance of them actually getting something wrong. But to be perfect is to constantly change. Virgo deeply understands this as its mutable nature turns time into sand and earth into tiny fragments of itself—a beach of mystery. As we walk along the sands of time, we realize that to be perfect is to constantly make sense of an order that is truly Divine. An order that’s living and breathing and changing all the same — a gyroscope of probabilities is where perfection lies and Virgo is at the center.

The word I’ve chosen for Virgo is not perfection though but rather Order. Before I could write this essay I had to determine what my fundamental truths were about Order. First, to me, Order is not rigid because it is pleasurable and being rigid is not. Order is cleanliness. Order is beauty. Order is symmetry. Order is asymmetry. It’s a pattern within a pattern within a pattern of self similarity. It is the fractals you see when you close your eyes and imagine a kaleidoscope. Order is about discovering the Pattern and understanding that even the most complex, disharmonious systems have a pattern that they draw energy from, listen to, and follow.

I never quite understood this until my mania gave me the ability to start writing again and destroyed what I had assumed being orderly was. I noticed that I wrote the fastest when I allowed my ADHD body to do what it loved best: move.
